Narsingdi Correspondent :Two bothers, who were injured in an attack by their rivals over land dispute at Morjan village in Raipura upazila on Friday, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Saturday night.The deceased were identified as Abdul Halim,38 and Judge Miah,30-sons of Haji Akbar Ali. Witnesses said, Akbar Ali had a long standing enmity with Suruj Miah over a piece of land.During an arbitration over the dispute on Friday morning, Suruj Ali, his five sons and some other people attacked Akbar Ali two son-Halim and Judge Miah-with sharp weapons, leaving them critically injured.They were taken to district hospital first and then shifted to DMCH where they succumbed to their injuries on Saturday night.A case was filed and police arrested eight people, including Suruj and his five sons, in this connection.
