Two siblings died in the city’s Banasree area on Monday reportedly having ‘Chinese’ food taken from a restaurant.
The deceased were identified as Nusrat Jahan Urmi, 14, a Class-VII student of Viqarunnisa Noon School, and her younger brother Alvi Aman, 6, a
nursery student of Holy Crescent School in Banasree.
Talking to reporters at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), victims’ maternal aunt Afroza Malik said Urmi and Aman took ‘Chinese’ food at noon which their father Aman Ullah brought home from a hotel, and went for an afternoon nap.
