Locals detained two activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS), Chittagong University (CU) and handed them over to police while they were distributing their organizational books yesterday.
The detainees were identified as Makbul Ahmed Arif of Arabic Department and Rashedul Alam of first year Islamic History and Culture Department of the university.
Police said locals detained the ICS activists from in front of Fatehabad College while distributing different ICS publications including ‘Kishorkantha’.
