Deputy Director (PR) of Bangladesh Railway, East Zone jobaida Akhter and Senior Welfare Inspector Fulina Chowdhury received fatal injury in road mishap in Chittagong yesterday morning.
The incident occurred at at Pahartali workshop area at 11 am.
They are now under treatment at Chittgong Railway Hospital and the condition of Fulina Chowdhury is critical, Railway sources said.
Fulina chowdhury received injury in eye and head and the Jobaida Akhter injured in legs and face.
Rly Chief Personal officer Ajoy Kumar told that both the officials were going to Convenor of the Employment committee Mizanur Rahman at Pahartali in a micro alongwith applications for Kalashi post aimed at scrutinizing the applications and the mishap occurred at Tigerpass crossing colliding with a CNG taxi.
The injured officials immediately rushed to Railway hospital in CRB area, sources said.
