Law enforcers arrested two students of Rajshahi University (RU) on the charge of violating a girl on Wednesday night.
The accused have been identified as Zahid Hasan Shovon of Public Administration department and Tarun Khundu of Social Science Department. Both are students of 2014-2915 sessions.
Police picked them up from Shah Makhdum dormitory of the university Wednesday midnight.

Police Station confirmed the news to the media and said that police arrested the duo from Shah Makhdum dormitory on the campus.
According to the case statement, Shovon, private tutor of the girl, developed a relationship with her.
On February 15, he took the girl to the house of Tarun Kundo’s sister at Kazla and raped her.
On March 11, the victim’s father filed a case with Matihar Police Station against them. Two accused were sent to jail following a court order on Thursday, the OC added.
Meanwhile, the victim girl has been sent to Rajshahi Medical College for medical test.
