2 Rohingyas held with Tk 13.7 cr Yaba pills

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested two Rohingya men, who were possession of 435,805 Yaba tablets worth Tk 13.7 crore at Domdomia, Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar early Sunday.
The accused are Md. Kamal Ahmed, 45, son of late Sirajul Mostofa, and Eliyas, 30, son of Baset Ali, from Mongdu of Myanmar.
In this connection, two cases were filed against them with Teknaf Model Police Station separately. BGB handed them over to the police.
Teknaf-2 BGB Commander Lieutenant Colonel SM Ariful Islam said that a team of BGB led by Havildar Md. Lutfor Rahman nabbed two Rohingya people when they were entering Bangladesh with large quantities of Yaba pills.
