Two suspected robbers were killed in a ‘gunfight’ with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Tongi Bridge area early Thursday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Sources at RAB-1 said being tipped off that a gang of robbers was
committing robbery after intercepting a private case in the area around 12:30 am a patrol team of Rab-1 went to the spot and challenged them, said Company commander of RAB-1 senor ASP Mohammad Kamruzzaman.
