A court here on Saturday sent two young men to jail over harassing a college girl in Mohanpur upazila.
The accused are Sabuj, 21, son of Sekandar Ali, and Abu Obaida, 20, son of Shafiqul Islam of Sakoa village in the upazila. They are said to be activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL).

Sabuj and Obaida harassed the girl at the village, while she was going to her college on Thursday
morning for appearing at an examination.
As the news spread around, locals caught them in the afternoon and gave them a good beating. Later, the victim filed a case against them.
Following the filing of the case, police arrested the duo on Friday night and produced them before the court on Saturday when it sent them to jail.
