Two officers-in-charge of Rampal and Morelganj police stations and a sub-inspector were closed to the district police headquarters, following an order of the Election Commission.
The police personnel are-Rashedul Islam and Mahbub Alam, OC and SI of Morelganj police station respectively, and M Rafiqul Islam, OC of Rampal police station.
Superintendent of Police of Bagerhat district M Nizamul Hoque Mollah said they took the decision after the EC asked them to remove the three policemen from their respective offices and appoint new officials there.
