Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral M Farid Habib said two new submarines would join in the Bangladesh Naval Force by next one year. After adding these submarines BN will be turned into a full-fledged naval forces in the country. Vice Admiral disclosed it while addressing the Presidents Parade of Navy in Chittagong as chief guest. He said helicopters, maritime petrol aircrafts now functioning in the Naval forces and two new submarines will join very shortly.
In summer vacation President Parade function, regional commanders of three forces, senior civil officials, foreign diplomats, freedom fighters, participating naval commandos, officers of the education concluding batch were present on the occasion.
