Bakalia thana police under CMP detained two Myanmar citizens with intoxicated yaba tablets in city yesterday early morning.
These yaba traffickers were detained from Shah Amanat bridge area at night about 2 am . The detained identified as Md. Younus and Md. Islam. Officer in-charge of Bakalia thana Md. Mohsin told that Younus and Islam entered in Bangladesh territory through Teknaf border from Myanmar with temporary transit pass and came over Chittagong from Teknaf through a passenger bus. They were carrying 1000 pieces of yaba . Acting on secret information, police conducted raid after midnight and managed to apprehend these two Myanmar citizens from Shah Amanat bridge area. After searching their body, police recovered these yaba .
