A gang of unidentified robbers have killed a security guard just in front of the Abir Hospital at New Eskaton in the capital on Monday.
The victim has been identified as Abdur Rahim, hailed from Muladi of Barisal, police said.
Ramna Police Station Sub-Inspector Alam Mia said that they recovered the wrapped up body by napkin at around 6:00am.
He added that the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
Meanwhile, an unidentified woman was found slaughtered at capital’s Mirpur early Monday, police said.
Mirpur Model Thana Sub-Inspector Arifur Rahman said that the police recovered the body from the area.
He added that they could not identified yet who killed the woman and thrown on the road.
The body was sent to the DMCH morgue for autopsy, he added.
