Two motorcyclist were killed when a speedy bus rammed their bike at Sadipur-Rampur Bottala area in Jessore-Magura road of Jashore district on Monday night.
The deceased were identified as Milon Roy, 45, son of Vijay Roy of Sadipur village under Bagharpara upazila and Mohammad Abdullah, 30, son of Oliar Rahman of Rajapur village under sadar upazila of the district.
Khajurah Police Outpost SI Rafiqul Islam said that Quoting locals said the accident occurred when a jashore-bound bus hit the motorcyclist from opposite direction at about 8:00pm, leaving Milon Roy and Mohammad Abdullah on the spot.
Police seized the bus but the driver and the helper could not catch. The bodies were sent to Jessore General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection.
