Two more persons succumbed to their injuries at the Burn Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Sunday after a tragic fire incident in Narayanganj district on December 19, made them injured.
Above all, the number of death toll reached around four in Fatullah fire incident.
The deceased Srinath Chandra Barman, 40, who
was earlier admitted here with 30 percent burns, breathed his last at High Dependency Unit early Sunday while Arpit Barman, 9, with 46 percent burns, died on Saturday midnight, Dr Partha Shanker Paul, and resident surgeon of DMCH burn unit, told the news media.
Earlier on December 20, T Haridasi, 55, and her daughter Sumitra Das, 27, succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
It is noted that nine members of the family sustained burn injuries after a fire erupted on the third floor in a four-storey building at Haq Bazar, on early hours of Wednesday. They were taken to the Burn & Plastic Surgery unit of DMCH.
