Staff Reporter :A team of Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in a drive arrested two persons from the city’s Gabtoli area on Sunday night in connection with the killing of Nasir Hossain, a local youth, at Bhashantek on October 11.The arrested persons were identified as Babul Bepari and Altaf Hossain. With this, police so far picked up three suspects. They also seized one pistol, two magazines, six rounds of bullets and six crude bombs from their possessions.DMP spokesman and Joint-Commissioner Monirul Islam disclosed the matter in a press briefing at Media Centre on Minto Road in the capital on Monday.Monirul Islam said that several extortion and snatching cases were pending against them with different police stations.The law enforcing agencies are trying to arrest all the accused, he said. On October 14, DB police arrested a man from Tangail for his involvement with the murder of Nasir, the DB Spokesman said. Nasir was hacked and beaten to death by the stalkers of his maternal sister in the capital’s Bhashantek area on October 11.
