Chittagong Metropolitan Police in a drive arrested two listed dacoits with a single barrel gun, a shutter gun and ammunitions from Mohora area under Chandgaon thana on Friday night.
The arrested were identified as Sattar alias Shaukat,35, son of Farid Shah hailed from Raozan upazila and Khurshed, 33, son of late Abul Kashem, hailed Boalkhali upazila of the district.
Based on secrete information, a team of Chandgaon Thana police raided at Mahbub colony of Mohara and arrested them with a single barrel gun, a shutter gun, two cartridges and three knives, said Officer in Charge (OC) Chandgaon police station.
A total of 14 dacoity cases were pending against them with different police stations in the city and district. A new case was filed in this connection, he added.
