Two land officials of Patiya AC Land office have been transferred instantly for alleged involvement with irregularities .
State Minister for Land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Javed in a instant order transferred two land officials while on surprise visit in the upazila land office on Thursday .The transferred officials are Assistant Tahsilders Sajjad and Korban Ali.
A reliable sources of AC land office said there is a provision to keep money with any official upto Tk.5 thousand in their custody but after physical investigation an amount of Tk.31,128 was found in the custodies of these two officials.The state minister instantly directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner(Rev) to transfer these two officials to other departments under district administration, sources said.
The minister also gave patient hearing of the grievances of the sufferers in the land office, sources added.
