Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 2,10,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from Gafur Project area in Teknaf upazila on Saturday night. Lt Col Abu Jar Al Zahid, commanding officer of BGB battalion-2, said a patrol team of the border force conducted a drive in the area and recovered 2,10,000 pieces of Yaba tablets around 10:00pm. However, no one was arrested as the drug peddlers fled the scene sensing the presence of the BGB men. The market value of the seized Yaba tablets is Tk 6.30 crore, said Abu Jar Al Zahid.
