A heavily loaded truck has turned turtle, killing two labourers in Dhaka’s Gabtoli Bus Terminal past midnight on Saturday.
Darul Salam Police Station’s OC Rafiqul Islam said the truck loaded with onions lost control and overturned after hitting the road divider.
The two who were killed were identified as ‘Sobhan’, 55 and ‘Taijuddin’, 30.
‘Sobhan’ died on the spot while ‘Taijuddin’ was succumbed to his wounds in the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital around 2am. The bodies have been kept in the Dhaka Medical College morgue.
