Two candidate of Khelafot Mozlish (KM) Md. Muntasir Ali (Sylhet-2) and Moulana Dilwar Hussain (Sylhet-3) submitted their nomination papers for the upcoming JS polls .
Khelafot Mozlish Central Joint Secretary Md. Muntasir Ali and Sylhet District Joint Secretar Moulana Dilwar Hussain submitted their nomination papers on Tuesday, confirms Muhammed Abdullah, returning officer of the polls.
After submission, Dilwar said: ‘As there has been no development in Sylhet-3 over the last five years, residents of the area want to see change.’
‘My fellow leaders are united, and they have spread the word of Wall Whatch among the households of Sylhet-3. The people have heard, and they will not elect the wrong person again,’ he added.
After the submission, Montasir said: ‘KM is taking part in the election to reveal the misdeeds of the current government. The people of the country have been robbed of their fundamental rights, and we are in a war to restore it to them.’ A festive mood prevailed at the regional election office throughout the series of submissions.
