Two persons were killed in separate accidents at Lohagara and Sitakunda upazila on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as M Liton, 22, son of Nur Amin, hailed from Kurigram and M Siful, son of Mizanur Rahman, hailed from Sitakundo.
Chittagong Medical College Hospital police outpost Liton, a construction worker, fall from an under construction five-story building at Lohagara upazila in the morning, leaving injured. Liton was rushed to CMCF where on duty doctors declared him dead.
Another Siful was killed as a speedy micro bus hit him while he was crossing the road at Bar Awlia highway under sitakundo upazila around 11:00 am.
Housewife commits suicide : A housewife commits suicide by hanging in the port city on Saturday with the sequel of family feud.
The victim identified as Yasmin Akhtar Nilu and the incident of suicide occurred at Jalalabad area under Baizid thana in city .
Police suspecting the incident occurred following the family feuds. Yasmin is the wife of one Md. Anowar of the same area. Baizid thana sources said following the information about the suicide, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body from hanging position. The body later sent to Chittagong Medical college hospital morgue for autopsy.
