Two persons, including a high school teacher, were killed in two separate districts of the country on Tuesday.
In Rajshahi, a School teacher named Abdul Halim,32, was killed when a truck rammed his motorcycle at Haripur in Paba upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.
Deceased Abdul Halim was an Assistant Teacher of Kasba High School in the upazila.
Shafiqul Islam, Headmaster of the School said that a truck hit the motorcycle of Halim while he was coming to school at Haripur Dargapara around 9:30am, leaving
biker Halim dead on the spot.
Abdur Latif, Officer-in-Charge of Damkura Police Station confirmed the news to the media.
In Tangail, a passenger of a auto-rickshaw was killed when a bus hit the vehicle on the Tangail-Mymensinghy road under Madhupur upazila of the district on Tuesday.
Deceased Rafiqul Islam,50, was an Office Assistant of Madhupur Upazila Engineering Division and inhabitant of Gopalpur area.
Fakrul Islam, Sub-Inspector of Madhupur Police Station confirmed the matter to the journalists.
