Two persons were killed in two separate road accidents in the port city and Fatikchari upazila of the district on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as Abul Bashar, 45, a manager of RMG factory Partex Apparel Limited, and M Mustafa, 34, resident of Fatikchari upazila. According to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost sources, In the afternoon, Bashar was travelling by a Tempo, but suddenly it turned-turtle with at Mansurabad area around 3:00 pm, leaving him injured critically. Bashar was rushed to CMCH where on-duty doctors declared him dead.
On the other hand, Mostafa was killed in a road mishap that took place at Bibirhat area under Fatikchari upazila of the district around 8:00 am, sources added.
