Two persons were killed and 10 others injured when a passengers bus turned turtle and fell into a roadside ditch in Haripur area on the Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj Highway under Paba upazila of the district early on Friday.
Police said the deceased were identified as supervisor of the bus Abdul Halim, 40, and passenger Shawkat Ali, 30.

roadside ditch after hitting a tree when its driver lost control over the steering around 4.30 am, leaving Shawkat dead on the spot.
The injured were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) where Halim succumbed to his injuries.
A case was filed with the police station in this connection, the OC added.
