Two youths were killed in a road accident at Noyakhaler Mukh area under Satkhania upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Anwar Hossain, 28, and Monwar Hossain,23, both hailed from Mirsari Upazila of the district.
Police said the accident occurred when a Cox’s Bazar bound Shah Amin passenger bus collided head-on with a Chittagong city-bound Pickup van in front of Noyakhaler Mukh area of Chittagong Cox’s Bazar highway under Satkhania upazila of the district that the two passengers critically injured. Locals and police brought them to the Satkhania health complex but the attending doctors declared them dead after admission.
