Two persons were killed in a wall collapse at a Buddha Bihar at Raikhali Motipara in Kaptai upazila of the district on Monday morning. The deceased were identified as Chau Mong Marma, 38 and Mongkrising Marma, 54. Both are hailing from Matpara village under the upazila.
Police quoting locals said a portion of a wall of Raikhali Motipara Buddha Bihar fell on the duo during the renovation work in the morning at 10am, leaving the workers critically injured on the spot. They died on the way to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.
