Two people were killed and four others injured in a collision between a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and a human hauler in Abdar area of Sreepur upazila on Sunday morning.
The deceased were identified as Liakat Ali, 27, and Mukhlesur Rahman, hailing from Mymensingh district.
Golam Kibria, sub-inspector of Sreepur Model Police Station, said the auto- rickshaw collided head-on with the human hauler (locally called Tomtom) in the area around 7am, leaving Liakat
dead on the spot and five others including Mukhlesur injured.
Mukhlesur died on way to Sreepur Upazila Health Complex.
