UNB, Gazipur :
Two people, including a readymade garment factory worker, were killed in separate road accidents in the city on Friday.
Highway police sources said, a man was killed when a Dhaka-bound bus knocked down him on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway at Borobari in the city on Friday morning.
The deceased identified as Rezaul Haque, 40, hailed from Maheshpur upazila in Jhenidah district.
In another incident, a young man was killed when an unknown vehicle run over him at Targach in the
city early Friday. The deceased was identified as Sohel Rana, 25, a worker of MSC Wear Garments Factory.
He hailed from Sherpur sadar upazila. Police sent the bodies to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
