Two people were killed as a mud wall collapsed on them at Nurpur village in Ghoraghat upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as house owner Abdul Kafi, son of Hossain Ali of the village, and worker Deljar Hossain, 35, son Mozammel Haque of Narayanpur village in the upazila. Officer-in-charge of Ghoraghat Police Station Israil Hossain said the incident took place around 12pm as the wall of an old house collapsed on Kafi and Deljar while they were demolishing it, leaving them injured.
They were taken to Ghoraghat Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared them dead, the OC added.
