BSS, Cox’sBazar :
Two persons including a minor boy were killed in separate road accidents on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar Highway in Ramu upazila of the district on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Shah Alam, 75, of Lambaripara under Fatekharkul union and Saiful Islam, 8, son of Zafar Alam of Nayapara under Joarianala union of the upazila.
Police said Shah Alam died on the spot when a microbus hit him in Ramu Tea garden Bus-stand area on the highway while he was crossing the road.
In another accident, a bus rammed Saiful in Joarianala area on the highway around 12 noon, leaving him dead on the spot.
