At least two workers were reportedly killed and seven others injured when the roof of an under-construction building of Barapukuria Coal Mining Company Limited (BCMCL) collapsed in Phulbari Upazila of Dinajpur District.
The incident took place on the premises of the Coal Mine on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as Akas Islam, 16, from Balipara village of Phulbari and Proshanta Roy from Hamidpur Chougachi village in Parbatipur upazila, Police said. BCMCL Deputy Assistant Engineer Sajedur Rahman, said “The injured have been sent to Phulbari Upazila Health Complex.3
