Two people were killed and nine others, including six policemen, injured in separate road accidents in Khulna, Narayanganj and Barisal districts on Friday.
In Khulna, an easy-bike driver was killed and two people were injured in a collision between a truck
and a human hauler (locally known as easy-bike) at Shantidham intersection of the city in the morning.
The deceased was identified as Asim, the driver of the easy-bike.
Police said, the truck collided with the easy-bike in the area around 9am, leaving Asim dead on the spot and two passengers injured. The injured were admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
Sukumar Biswas, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, confirmed the accident.
In Narayanganj, a minor boy was killed as a truck rammed his bicycle in Adamjee Sumilpara area of Siddhirganj in the morning.
The deceased was identified as Pranta, son of Shahjahan from Adamjee Sumilpara Bihari Colony area.
The Narayanganj-bound truck crashed into the bicycle of the child at Shimrail intersection in the morning, leaving him dead on the spot, said Alauddin, officer-in-charge of Siddhirganj Police Station.
