At least two passengers were killed and 30 others injured after a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Kamaliarchar area in Kishoreganj Sadar on Friday morning.
The victim were identified as Faijul Islam (62)at Kanighat in Sylhet and Zinath Khan,a staff nurse of Mymensingh medical College Hospital.
Highway Police in Katiadi Inspector Jahirul Islam and Kishoreganj Model Police Station Officer in charge (OC, investigation) Mizanur Rahman told The New Nation that a Bishal Paribahan bus, while
heading towards Mymensingh from Sunamganj fell into a roadside ditch on Bhairab–Mymensingh Highway, causing one death and to 30 others injured.
The injured where taken to Kishoreganj General Hospital where one of the injured died, but the rest were receiving treatment.
