2 JSC examinee ‘commits suicide’ in Rajshahi, Sirajganj

A Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinee, who failed to pass the examionation, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at Charuruhita village in Sadar upazila early Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Sanjida Sultana Srabonti, daughter of Md Shaheen of the village and a student of Rasulganj Bohumukhi High School.
Family sources said Sanjida hanged herself from the beam of the room with his scarf as she could not bear the pain of failure in the exam.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Lokman Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
 UNB from Dhaka adds: A girl reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her house at Pirgacha village in Bagha upazila as she could not obtain GPA-5 in Junior School Certificate (JSC) exam this year.
The deceased was identified as Jhumu Khatun, daughter of Mozammel Haque and a student of Noutika High School.
Bagha Police Station officer-in-charge Rezaul Hasan Reza confirmed the suicidal incident to UNB.
