Two idols were reportedly stolen from a shiv temple at Kamargaon Ganghati Purbapara village in Tanore upazila here on early Monday.
A written complaint was filed with Tanore Police Station around 10:30pm on Monday, said Amal Kumar Das, president of the temple.
A Shiva idol and black stone idol were stolen on early Monday, he said.
Being informed, Tanore upazila nirbahi officer Shawkat Ali and sub-inspector Saiful of the police station visited the spot.
