Two housewives have committed suicide in Double Mooring and Pahartali thana areas of the port city, police said. Police suspect that they may have committed suicide centering family feud.
Farzana Akhter Poppy, 26, a housewife, committed suicide at noon on Saturday last at Gafur Mansion in Charia Para under Double Mooring Police Station.
On the other hand, another housewife named Shaheda Begum (30) committed suicide at Ejahar Miah’s rented house in Hari Mandir area of Pahartali police station.
Chattogram Medical College police outpost Naik Amir Hossain said that the bodies of two housewives were brought to the morgue of CMCH .
