Members of the Chittagong Metropolitan police in a raid arrested two men for their alleged involvement in peddling drugs from city’s Eidgah area in Halishahor thana on Tuesday night. They also seized 850 pieces of yaba tablets from their possession. The arrestees were identified as Nur Hossain, 28 and Nazrul Islam, 29, hailed from Sherpur district.
On a tip-off, a team of police raided in Eidgah area and arrested them with the yaba tablets, said Pronob Chowdhury, Officer-in-Charge of Halishahor thana police. A case was filed in connection.
