Chittagong’s Sadarghat thana police detained two persons in West Madar Bari area of the city on charge of carrying foreign arms Thursday .
Two arms and six rounds of bullet were recovered from their possession.The detainees are-Arshadur Rahman Apu, 32, and Abdur Rouf, 38.
Abdur Rouf intended to carry out an attack on his brother, following a feud over assets. At one stage, Apu attempted to open fire by the arms with him, Sadarghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nezam Uddin told.Locals assisted police to nab the duo.
The detainees are accused in several cases filed with separate police stations of the city, added the OC.
