Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two people with firearms at Uporkoyla in Shibganj upazila recently.
The arrestees were identified as Akash Anwar, 22, son of Saidul Islam, and Alamin, 30, son of Sarman Ali of the upazila.
A team of Rab-5 conducted a drive in the area and arrested them with a pistol, a shutter gun, six bullets and a magazine in the afternoon, said a press release of RAB.
Later, they were handed over to police.
