Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested two persons with 700 grams of sulphur, which is used for making explosives from Pahartali Railway Bazar of Pahartali thana early Wednesdaay.
The arrestees were identified as Prokash Kanti Nath, 34, and Netai Kanti Nath, 37. On receipt of secret information a team of Bakalia thana police raided a Ayurvedic shop at Pahartali bazar of Pahartali thana in the port city at about 1-35 am on Wednesday night and detained them .Officer- in- Charge of Bakalia thana Mohammad Mohosin said the material, mostly sulpar, was stored at a warehouse an Ayurvedic shop at Pahartali bazar of Pahartali thana in the port city for committing sabotage activities.
