UNB, Chuadanga :
Police arrested two alleged criminals along with three bombs at Ghoshbila village in Alamdanga upazila early on Thursday.
The arrestees were identified as Shaheen, son of Amin Sarkar of Pangsha village and Jubair, son of Ibrahim Ali of Betbaria village in Khoksha upazila of Kushtia district.
Quoting local people police said Shaheen and Jubair along with 5/7 criminals were holding a meeting in the village around 3 am.
Sensing the presence of the criminals, local people chased them and caught two of them while the others managed to flee. Three powerful bombs were recovered from their possession.
Later, they were handed over to Alamdanga Police Station.
