UNB, Dhaka :
Members of Rapid Action Battalion arrested two people along with 50,000 pieces of Yaba pills from Beribadh in the city’s Mohammadpur area on Thursday night.
The arrestees are Md Rubel Ahmed, 26, son of late Abdul Alim, hailing from Sarshadi, Feni and Md Fahim Mia, 19, son of Md Kabir Mia of Bhadeshwar in Bramhanbaria district.
Being tipped-off that two young people were
transporting drugs to Keraniganj, a team of the elite forces intercepted a pickup van from a bus counter at the place around 11:25 pm and held them along with the contraband tablets, said a RAB-2 press release issued on Friday.
