UNB, Dhaka :Members of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested two alleged drug dealers and recovered 50,000 pieces of yaba tablets from Khilkhet area in the city on Thursday.The arrested are: Boktar Ahmed, 32, and Md Nur Alam alias Tito, 40.Sources at the CTTC said, a special team of the unit conducted a drive led by its Inspector Biplob Kumar Shill and challenged a private car at Road No-8 of Nikunja-2 in Khilkhet area.The specialized anti-crime team also recovered the consignment of yaba tablets searching the private car.During preliminary interrogation, the arrested revealed that they have long been involved in supplying yaba to Dhaka city after bringing the consignment from Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar district.
