Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two suspected drug traders along with 4.18 kgs of heroin from Court Station area in Rajshahi city on Sunday night.
The arrestees are Quamrul Islam, 50, son of Soibur of Godagari upazila and Omar Sharif Rony, 30, son of Golam Gaus of Kashiadanga area.
Being tipped off that some people were selling drugs in the area, a team of Rab-5 conducted a drive in the city around 9:45 pm and arrested the two drug traders alsong with heroin worth Tk 4.18 crore, said Rab sources.
