Members of Rapid Action Battalion seized 32,000 Yaba tablets and arrested two people in this connection in the city here on Thursday night.
The arrestees were Syed Akbar of Ramu upazila of Cox’s Bazar and Nurul Afsar, of Padua area of Lohagorah upazila.
ASP Shahida Sultana, assistant director Rab-7, said tipped off, a team of Rab arrested the duo along with 4000 Yaba tablets from a building at Lalpukur math under Panchlaish thana around 8:45 pm.
According to their statement, the Rab team recovered 28,000 more Yaba tablets from a house in Shulokbahar area in the city.
