Officials of the Narcotics Control Department (NCD) arrested two youths with 2,500 pieces of contraband yaba tablets from city’s Bakalia area on Monday morning.
The arrested were identified as Jasim, 25 and Syed Alam, 20.
A team of NCD on secret information, arrested them with the yaba tablets from Bakalia Thana area, said Aslam Hossain Chowdhury, deputy director of NCD, Chittagong Metro Zone.
A case was filed with the city’s Bakalia thana in this connection.
