A team of the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) on Saturday arrested two persons, including a woman, with 22,400 Yaba tablets in Bandar area of the port city.
The arrestees are Md Abdus Sakur, 44, and Naharun Begum, 28, of Ukhia in Cox’s Bazar.
In primary interrogation, the duo admitted that they were carrying the pills to Dhaka from Ukhia and were involved in Yaba trade, said police.
