Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive today held two youths with 1,800 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets from city’s Bahaddarhat area under chandgaon thana. The arrestees were identified as Nurul Islam, 35 and Jamal Uddin, 26.On receipt of secret information, a team of RAB-7 arrested the youths with the Yaba tablets from a
restaurant at Bahaddarhat area under city’s Chandgaon police station around 10 this morning, RAB sources said.
“The men brought the Yaba tablets from Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazaar and were waiting at the restaurant to sell those”, the sources said. A case was filed in this connection.
