Members of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested two youths with 10,000 pieces of yaba tablets from Southside of city’s Shah Amanat Bridge under Karnaphuli thana yesterday morning. The arrested was identified as Mohammad Ariful Hoq, 24, and Abbas Uddin, 28, both hailed from Satkhania upazila of the district. On a tip-off, a team of Detective Branch (DB) police arrested them with the contraband drugs beside the toll plaza of the Bridge around 10 am, said Ashif Moinuddin, assistant commissioner of the DB police.
