Police, in a drive, detained two persons in connection with mugging six Chinese nationals in Rangadia area under Karnaphuli in Chittagong.
Two snatched mobile phone sets were recovered from them. They were identified as Ahmmed Nur, a resident of South Shahmirpur area and Nahidur Rahman, from North Port area.
Karnaphuli Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Syedul Mostofa told that the duo were detained in a drive at Parky Beach area. The six Chinese nationals are employees at Karnaphuli tunnel project who were mugged of Friday.
